Wife, younger daughter and I will be there. Tickets are hanging on the refrigerator waiting for the game.

When the wife and I were at Nats spring training this March we ran into a couple of guys who were at last years game and had the JMU Nats hat. Pretty cool looking hat!!

We'll be there too. The hat this year is even better than the all-purple and all-white versions from last year (see the link).

Yep. Last year I opted for a better section and in the shade instead of getting the JMU hat. I also spent just as much money on stubhub as what they were charging for those outfield sections and my wife was happy to not be sitting in the sun. That in turn made me happy.

Is there a way to get the hat w/o going to the game?

I love JMU and really like the Nats but a game is a all day commitment that is tough to pull off.

At a different game last year, I bought one at the team store. Not sure if it can be purchased on-line.

It does not appear from the webpage that we've surpassed 2,500 yet.

Just ordered my tickets to include the hat. For those that have been to this game in prior years, where do you go to get the included hat?

We're supposed to get an email on Thursday letting us know where the hat location will be.

RE: JMU day at Nationals Park on July 21:
Just got an E mail from the Nationals saying that all 4000 tickets for the JMU Day at Nats Park have been sold. Email also had instructions for picking up the hats. The hats will be distributed PRIOR to you entering the ballpark. A tent will be setup outside Nats Park along the first base side of the stadium and the hats will be distributed there. You must show your special JMU Day ticket to get the hat so make sure you bring it with you!!

Looking forward to the game. Hope the weather cooperates!!!!

Go Dukes!!

Brian

no surprise to anyone, but the Dukes by far and away bring more to this event than any other university. 4k??! seriously, if they draw 30k that night, almost 15% that will be associate with the dukes. Probably more than that when you consider the dukes who will be there but didnt buy within the 4k. Thats $200k in ticket revenue alone.

we ought to get hats and Jerseys!!!

It’s not a coincidence they upgraded JMU night to a Saturday from a Tuesday last year and made the ticket block larger. They are quickly learning JMU fans show up when you show them some love.
JMU nights are pretty much guaranteed to be an annual night at Nats Park if they know we bring thousands of fans.
