The second straight JMU nats game and we’re sporting a 2-0 record. We’re good luck.
It’s extra satisfying to see the Nats win today after all the trash talking from Braves fans.

Nats are finally playing like they were expected to play this season. They likely will sweep the DH with Scherzer on the hill tonight. Because neither the Phillies nor Braves have taken advantage and run away with the division, the gap the Nats need to close is not only achievable, but perhaps likely if they can continue to play like they've been playing over the last week.

Phillies can't win on the road though they are terrific at home. Braves have done damage against the division (especially beating up the Mets), but are average-to-mediocre against everybody else. The division is there for the taking if the Nats keep it together.

The second game is Nerds Night apparently. (Bill and Mary).

On this road trip, ATL is 4-2 with wins over the Mets when deGrom started and over the Nats when Scherzer started. The Bravos will take that in a heartbeat as would any team in MLB.

Side note, noticed last night the BoSox were 44.5 games over the O's in the ALE standings.

tried to pick up my hat at the game last night. you have to go to the red carpet portal services. Make sure you have your ticket or at least know what section your seat was in. They have a list of names, but it is listed by section, not alphabetical by name. they have to review the entire list to find you name. i gave up after 10 minutes of them searching with no success.

btw, i thought the jmu hats looked terrible. I saw the UMD and W&M Nats hats, much better than ours.

they certainly did not look purple to me. they looked grey, or purple grey. anyone feel differently?

There were both purple and gray hats available your choice. Have no idea why they had gray hats though. My hat is purple and looks great!!
