Gowdy wrecks Schiff
“He wanted to be the attorney general under Hillary Clinton, and nobody in the country worked harder to protect her than Adam Schiff. He wanted to run for the Senate in the People’s Republic of California, but he couldn’t win either of those seats. So now, he wants to be the chairman of the House Intelligence Committee,” Gowdy told Fox News’ Jason Chaffetz.

“I don’t think anybody on my side of the aisle gives much of a damn what Adam Schiff thinks,” said Gowdy.

It was a hilarious interview. Also mentioned the things we would not know had Shifty gotten his way. None of the facts we know about Benghazi or the FBI-DOJ corruption would be public knowledge.

You left out slimy, but that's close enough. You win. Oh, and I usually say the other is an edible fish.

Stink, are the hard heads edible? The photo is of a channel cat which are quite tasty of course.

Good question. One time I caught about 3 seawater catfish just before Hurricane Allen hit Corpus Christi. I had heard that they weren't too tasty. Anyone know?

I caught a 2 1/2 pounder last weekend fishing for bream. It was quite the sporty fight on a lightweight fiberglass "bream buster" pole. Got him in the boat just before he fully straightened out the #8 cricket hook.

We tore the bream and red breast up last week. Going to try it again tomorrow if the rain don't wash us out.

This was always my favorite bream fishing spot. Henderson swamp on the edge of the Atchafalaya Spillway. That's I-10 between Lafayette and Baton Rouge. April, May, and June were usually the best months as the water was dropping after the snowmelt to the north had finally tapered off.

We are fishing the Parr Reservoir off the Broad River in Newberry. It's a holding area for water used to cool the turbines at the VC Summer Nuclear plant. I never really fished it until a few years ago, but we've duck hunted there and off the river near there for years because of the adjacent waterfowl management area. It's a fairly close by spot to go when we don't feel like going all the way down to our duck club off the Edisto River in the Lowcountry.

It always gets me how catfish have become popular. As a kid in Texas, my dad would throw the catfish back. You didn't eat those.
