How can he do with basketball?
I did not think ex-Sausage AD Long would stay unemployed very long. Just announced that Kansas has hired him. We'll see how he makes the switch to a basketball school.

Apparently he was hired to try to beef up the football side of things. Obviously Jayhawk Basketball doesn't need any help!

I wish him well, but that will be tough to do at Kansas. About the same as doing it at Kentucky.

I would hire some retread who has the respect of high school coaches in a fertile area. A Les Miles maybe.

Long is one of the more respected ADs in the country. I figure he will do fine.
