Per Woj on Twitter ( take it to the bank)

Sources: Tyreke Evans, Pacers finalizing a one-year, $12M deal. Reke is gambling like Will B. did.

Wrong forum. Reke was never going to sign with Grizz. They could only offer a little over $8M. Plus he is a Tiger for life. I don’t think many posters visit those forums. Can I pope myself?

Good for him. I will never forget him crying on the bench at the end of the game Caligula threw. He deserves good things in life.

Cal didn’t throw it. He just wasn’t as prepared as normal. Better than Tubby’s preparation last year tho. I was in Kansas City for the first two games that got us to the S16 and we looked off except Roburt Sallie who hit 8 or so threes to beat Cali team. If Vasquez hadn’t ran his mouth about us finishing 6-7th in ACC, we might have lost the Maryland game.

But you are right, Tyreke played his rear end off wanting to get to F4 so bad.

“One of just eight NBA players to average 19 points, five rebounds and five assists this past season —The other seven players on that list …
LeBron James. Kevin Durant. James Harden. Stephen Curry. Russell Westbrook. DeMarcus Cousins. Blake Griffin. Look at that list. The first five players are the last five players to win MVP. The sixth and seventh players have combined for five spots on the All-NBA second team.“

Nice article by Greg Doyel on Tyreke.

Definitely weren't prepared as well as they should have been but at the same time when a team shoots like that, there isn't much you can do. Missouri was hitting everything they were throwing up. Including a half court shot before the half.

Is this a joke? This might be the most ludicrous statement I've ever read on this board. We were so obviously superior to Maryland over the course of the entire season and obviously much better than them from the first second of the game.

You think that we might have lost to a team that we were clobbering by 20 at halftime if one of their players would have kept his mouth shut? That is hilarious, even by your standards.

You really exaggerate to find a reason to disagree with my post. We were MUCH MORE superior to Cal St. Northridge than MD, yet had to rally to beat them. Why didn’t we win by 25? Please explain and, while you are it, explain how Loyola of Chicago beat “much superior” teams to advance to F4 this past season. Your post is an attempt to make me look foolish but actually shows your obstinance.

Why does everyone always give shooters such a hard time. Clearly he is a lifelong Tiger fan.

RE: FYI-Tiger great Tyreke signs with Pacers for $12M
Is that the win over Calipari that got Mike Anderson the Arkysaw job?

All 5 Missou starters were in double figures. With both teams shooting over 50%.

Sallie only got 5 shot attempts going 3-5.

Donneal Mack went 0-7 scoreless

Robert Dozier had 19 points and 16 rebounds

Tyreke went 12-25 FGs, 9-9 FTs scoring 33 points

Although the Tigers shot 50% from the field we went stone cold from 3-point land at 20% and 56% from FTs.

Tigers only had 2 more TO's than Missou.

The loss broke a 27 game winning streak.
