As a Charlotte fan, I don't have to watch this list with any anticipation.

Anyone care to guess on how many CUSA teams make the cut. Pretty sure Marshall, WKU, and ODU make the cut?

Mtsu probably will based on last few years. (Not that they will finish that high)

Don't overlook UTSA. I think that they're going to have another sneaky-good season.

The first link you have is incorrect, it goes to "sportsmadness.com" not "collegesportsmadness.com" -- the second one still works

According to a poster on the main board, UTSA entered the charts at 120 and is fourth in CUSA. But if you go to the site you’ll see that they skip over 120, going from 121. UC Davis to 119. Lehigh. If true then there’s only three teams left from the conference. WKU and Marshall are the locks, then who knows with the third team.

We lost two key players, as guard/forward Deon Lyle (C-USA 6th Player of the Year) transferred out, which came as a shock, and OU transfer forward, Dante Buford (former Rivals 4-star player) apparently has had academic difficulties at UTSA and is no longer with us either. Buford had to sit out last year, per the transfer rules, and this was going to be his senior season. He was eligible the entire time during his first 2 years at OU (go figure), albeit in a reserve role for the team.

I think Coach Henson picked up some pretty good under-the-radar recruits though, and a couple more transfers, so even though we won't be as deep as I originally thought we would this coming season, we should still be able to put at least as good a product on the court as last year. Word is we'll also play at an even higher tempo this year than we did last year.

I assume the other 3 CUSA schools will be ODU, WKU and Marshall. I expect ODU to pop up next and it will be a crap shoot on who they rank 1 and 2 in CUSA.

I do expect Middle to take a step back this year but its unknown how big of a step. They lost Potts, King and Walters to graduation and all 3 of their former 2018 recruits, plus McDevitt has run off/dismissed some key players like Antwain Johnson.

That's probably right. I honestly will be pretty disappointed if we only have 4 teams in the top 144 this year though.

clt says Charlotte will certainly be better.

Even though CUSA was the only conference outside the P6 (BE is a power) to have 4 schools with 25 or more wins and the only conference to have 7 programs with 20 wins or more, 4 on this list is about right.

Considering just about all low major conferences will get at least their top program on there and each of the top power conferences get 8-10 on there and the MVC and A10 will probably have 4 and maybe 5 on it and the AAC will probably land 5 maybe 6 on the top 144.

Is the top of CUSA underrated, hell yes. But even though as good as the top of the conference has been the past 4 years or so the bottom has been real bad and some have been DII bad.
