I hope he gets a shot. He's young enough to spend the next couple of years in the G-league, but if I'm him, I'm going to Europe to make more money if I'm not in the league by age 25.

It looks like Gary Clark sat out yesterday's game for Houston. Don't know if it was because he just signed a deal or he has an injury. Was on box score but no stats.

Troy has the advantage of being a 6'4 point guard but isn't particularly athletic. If he can develop his jump shot I could see him eventually playing in the NBA but I think overseas is his most likely eventual destination. Agree that you don't want to waste too many years in the G league when you can make 6 figures overseas.

Thanks for the thread, and the TV detail. I got to watch Troy play tonight. Even guard Huggs boy Javon Carter.

Evans went 2-8 from the field for 5pts in 25 min (2reb/1ast/1TO/1BLK)
Clark - DNP
Caupain - 5-8 from the field for 10 pts in 18 min (7reb/5ast/0TO/1STL)
Washington has yet to play

Honestly, Evans jump shot looked very poor, flat and coming up short. Lots of better players on the floor last night than what Evans showed. Missed a short one on a break that would have tied the game at 80 and then missed a free throw to tie game.

That's why Golden State was the perfect landing spot for him...learning how to be the perfect utility type from Iggy plus working on shooting mechanics with Curry and Thompson could lead to Evans having a long and successful career in the Pros. He's working and learning on the fly in Summer League...was a standout in his first game. Successful training camp and staying healthy will yield nice playing time in the regular season...Jordan Bell played over 14 minutes a game as a rookie last season.
