The Simpsons had offended a VICE social justice warrior who had never sent the show before
When I was a kid it was Christians who were offended by it. We have really gone full circle
Shocking. A progressive finds a edgy show from the 90s offensive.
Someone should strap her down and make her watch the entirety of Married with Children
"Why is it that when I make the money it's our money but when you make the money its your money ? Oh well, I guess we'll just have to leave that up to the historians. After all, gay used to mean happy."

I was working in an Elementary school when the Simpsons first came out.
"Don't have cow, man" and "Eat my shorts" was so horrific the Admin or School Board decided to ban the T-shirts on the little kids across the entire County. Very liberal County, even then.
My guess is she watched it looking to be offended so she could write the article. Her conclusion was made before she eve watched the episode. That's how these folks work, they look to be offended, even by decade old TV show.
PS....Someone should clue her in to "Blazing Saddles".

Having Archie portrayed as even remotely likeable would keep this show from getting off the ground today.
Archie would have to be the most evil, miserable person in America for All in the Family to even get considered today
Yet in the show he was the guy who held down a job to support his family including his son-in-law who, by the way, was a free-loader and kept pushing socialist ideas.
Oh, yeah... and Meathead was defiling Archie's daughter under his own roof.

And then meathead ditched Gloria and their son and ran off to a commune with another woman....in other words, a typical liberal "man".....

It seems Reiner didn't have to do much acting to pull off Meathead.

Andy Kaufman's imitation of Archie Bunker on Johnny Carson is still funny 40 years later. Of course, he would probably be crucified by the Left today because he is making fun of "foreigners" when doing his impersonations.
