Painter linked his conspiracy theory to a brief post at The New Republic claiming that “Trump’s relationship with Justice Kennedy sounds shady.”

“Deutsche Bank was, notably, the only important financial institution that would work with Trump after his bankruptcies in the 1990s, lending him over $1 billion. Last year, the Financial Times reported that Kennedy’s son was ‘one of Mr Trump’s most trusted associates over a 12-year spell at Deutsche,’” the obscure left-wing outlet moaned.

So what? This means absolutely nothing, especially since Trump disinvested himself of his businesses to run for the presidency.

And especially since The New York Times — the most prestigious newspaper in America ( according to the left) — published a report last week about Trump’s “quiet campaign to create a Supreme Court opening.”

Despite the post’s ominous headline, the report contained this key takeaway: “There were no direct efforts to pressure or lobby Justice Kennedy to announce his resignation on Wednesday.”
