I would refine that statement. I dont think that Trump wants to 'close [immigration] to legal immigrants'. I do think he would prefer to limit it to people who can demonstrably show an upside to the nation (i.e. doctors, scientists, engineers, etc.).

I do think he wants to reduce legal immigration. I want merit-based, but I think we should be admitting more. When Microsoft has to build a campus in southern BC because it can't get work permits for foreign masters and Ph.D. in IT graduates, we have a problem.

First off the newpaper said large crowd of 200-300, which is not close to the number going by pictures. I wasn't there in person.

I will tell you what I see from those pictures...a lot of older folks that are most likely retired and some students age people who's most likely not made a family or a career for their self....

what you don't see is any numbers of the middle class working families. Those people who will pay the cost for everything these people protesting want. Look the pictures over and I bet you will not see 10% of any crowd of those working middle class family types.

My guess is 80% of those older folks in WKUTG's post are retired WKU or retired BG public school teachers...
