Wrong. The announcement was wrong. The UCF game is Sat the 12th. It's already been corrected on the announcement site.

From official Tigers website:

Sept 14 Ga. State

Sept 28 @ Tulane

Nov 16 @ SMU

Nov 23 Houston

http://gotigersgo.com/schedule.aspx?path=football

I'm not familiar with the announcement you refer to.

If you would look at the top of the thread, the announcement was a white out game on Oct 12th, a Friday.
The actual game is Oct 13th, a Saturday. If you scroll down slightly on the article you linked you will see the complete schedule and the UCF game announcement.

I'm not sure what the UFC game on Saturday has to do with the 4 listed Friday games.

Sorry, I thought it was referencing the Oct 12th game being listed as a Friday game, when it is actually a Saturday game.

I also dislike White out and black out. We should coordinate which games we wear blue and which games we wear gray - like Ole Miss does for red and blue games.

The only reason I support Black Out games is that it is on Black Friday.

The only reason I could see a WO game is if our team was wearing the all whites, like they did against Tulane... but, we are the home team so why would we want to wear all whites.

We could wear all whites at home. It's been done before. I think they just have to do a coach's agreement.

White out games, while not part of our "official" colors, is very much within our uniform standards. As long as you aren't wearing orange, I don't care if you support them or not, just be there.

As for the sell-out "requirement" those two games are against UCF and Houston, the two games I would be willing to bet will come the closest to sell outs we have.

Remember when we had a black out game on TV while hosting UC. The stadium looked like it was mostly filled with UC fans.

BLUE and GREY those are out colors and they were picked for a very specific reason.

College football should be about three things.

TRADITION
TRADITION
and
TRADITION

Grey Avenger would be so proud

I hope there is good attendance this season. I would love to see sold out games for TV games.

Fingers crossed.
It’s better than luck in these parts.

Agree with most of what's been said. Like the creativity of the marketing department but it is being overdone.

Every game should be blue or gray out, prefer blue because it shows up better on tv.

Have one promo game a year where we have a white out or black out (which i do not like the black out uniforms)

I was against all the uniform combos at first but it doesn't bother me as much now. I am OK with the uniforms as long as they both have blue and gray in them.
