Watergate “started” in June 1972 when the 5 burglars got arrested by DC cops in a high-end office/retail/condo building. When it “ended” is a matter of interpretation but Nixon’s resignation in August ’74 and the pardon 30 days later was certainly a time when a lot of people moved on.

I remember the day Nixon resigned. Had a date with a girl from Breaux Bridge. Long black hair. Don't recall her name, but sure recall our date.

Yer freakin killin me. 03-lmfao

I remember it well also, can picture the wave and peace signs to this day. I didnt have a date, likely, no was, heading to a swim lesson/practice, but very much 'member cute honey (we were about 6-7) Natalie's dad telling us all what a crook Nixon was.

Still surprised that wreck of a car got us there and back. The very creepy YMCA in Anacostia 40+ years ago...

Likely be child abuse today 07-coffee3

Finally recalled her name, Elaine. Dated a number of girls from there. Crawfish capitol of the world. 03-lmfao

Is that what you called it back then?

Grab em by the crawfish?!? Haha

Did you go to Mulates? I think that’s how you spell it. Real Cajun food back in the day. So real I could barely converse with the waitresses.

Can't say I ever ate at Mulates. Most of those places we considered tourist dives. Did have a few meals at Pat's on the Levee over in Henderson. Lots of good places to eat all around the area.

Elaine and I enjoyed the $2 a pitcher beer night over at the Keg and then headed over to my apartment on Smith Street.

Feed her beer then got lucky.....

just think if it was 2018 and Elaine regretted the night before

You are aware that people, including a sitting US Ambassador, needlessly died in that attack, right?

How many bodies has the Bueller probe turned up? 13 ROOOSKIES!!! trolling the facebook? Really?

One of these things does not equal the other.
Fine. How long did Whitewater last?

You do realize that the reason Huckabee became the governor of Arkansas was because of whitewater? The governor of a state was convicted in that deal. Just because the CLintons skated in another crime doesnt mean there was nothing there.

My point is either let the thing run its course or have Trump end the thing. Right now it just people on both sides trying to get sound bites for midterm advertisments.

This fake witch hunt has run its course. Unlike whitewater, there was no crime to investigate.
