The surprise NY Dem primary winner has an awesome comment

"The GOP tax cut could have paid for two years of public college for everyone in this country,"

Minor questions....

what would have paid for it after the two years?

would it have been shut down after two years?

is it a good idea to launch a long term entitlement program when you only have two years of finances mapped out?

........and please explain why one person's tax payment should pay for someone else's college??

Maybe next she'll want a requirement for someone with a good job to just cut a check and give it to some 18 year old for tuition.......because in the end - that's exactly what she is advocating. Hell, just writing the check would be more cost effective as it would cut out the government bureaucracy getting their cut.....

I believe you are overthinking his comment.

That said, this idea that tax cuts cost money is ridiculous. It makes one hell of an improper assumption.

Morons getting their moron on.

So we get a two year class of community college “graduates”, then create another entire class of entitlements...

You went to the Dub, you got this, asked the right question(s).

Stupid be stupid. Welcome to the Bern.

God help us

And why should the 60% or so who don't get a college degree subsidize the elite who do?

Most college degrees do nothing but create a slave for the rest of their life.

Love to ask her why she seems to think that MY MONEY should go to pay for some freeloader's college. Why she thinks that since I paid for MY OWN college that I should now have to pay for someone elses.

Republican - It's the people's money and we should give to government only what it needs.

Socialcrat (or Demolist if you prefer) - It's government's money and it will give YOU only whet it deems you to need.

Remember that fat kid at a Caesars Pizza asking for handouts. He's still there but now he has a sidekick. Both young and able bodied. I almost told them that Lowes and Home Depot were hiring but why get into an argument. I just gave them zilch.
