The abortion thing is a tough one I can see both sides of the argument and I think the decision should be left to each individual - they are the ones who have to wake up and look at themselves in the mirror. It is probably one of the two non-republican views I hold as an overall conservative. My other non-republican view is on LGBT - I DON'T care as long as you don't throw it in my face. Do what you need to do to be happy - just don''t be "look at me" about it.

BUT - here is my bigger point.

DJT may be pulling off the biggest economic coup EVER - follow along. He is making the libs so nervous and uptight that these people are truly contemplating leaving the country.

If you cut out 25M or 30M people off of the SSN and Medicare Payroll - BANG! SSN/Medicare problem solved! What am I missing?

There are issues which are simply a matter of policy and then there are issues which are a matter of morality.

Ending the life of a baby is not simply policy. There is a moral connotation to it.

I do NOT want to support the ending of a baby's life at all -- period. But if a court rules it's OK, I do not want MY tax $$$ being used for it.

Given the two, I would gladly give up my support of capital punishment if others would give up their support of abortion.
