Typical Murphy. 03-lmfao We are all going crazy over CFB recruiting and he slips in a big time recruit out of the blue, ala JT4.

It kind of makes you wonder why this kid is at emu. I like it, but there has to be more to the story. Looks like he hasn't at the same school two years in a row for a few years.

The seniors, especially Thompson, need to mentor this kid.

Wow. Some impressive film. 6’9 guys who are that long and skilled don’t typically end up in the MAC. That jumper is so smooth. You can see why he committed to a very good basketball program initially. This fills the hole on the wing that Nobles left.

I’m also curious as to how he ended up here, but as long as he’s more James Thompson than James Still, I won’t care. Murphy sure has a knack for finding talent, wherever it may be.

RE: Andre Rafus
It’s like Murphy googled “long, athletic lefties who like corner threes to replace the guy that just transferred” and he ended up with someone with a bunch of high major offers.

Seriously though, I’m stunned by this find.

Twitter says he’s a 2018 commit, so expect to see him this fall.

This kid is a player. TCU was very happy to get him last year and very disappointed when he ended up taking a prep school year. He should do very well at EMU.

oh hell yeah. this is great! i just watched 10 minutes of his highlights....he probably only dribbled 5 times, but he has a pretty shot (quick release too) and works around the rim. i love it. well done Murphy.

"Sunshine Steve" is now making plans for the post season.

We just replaced Bond. And not to mention that we added a guard (Parris) and center (Toure), both with collegiate experience.

This recruit seems very advanced for a player without college experience. Might be like JT4 who stepped in played very well day one.

Wow, I truly don't see a more talented roster in the MAC. If the boys come out ready to play, this could be Murphy's year to win it!!

Let's go Eagles!
