Saints out of town that weekend, which has kept hotel rates a little lower.

Thanks - I found a Hampton Inn just a few miles from Tulane for $99 that Friday night. We're planning on going down that Friday, and hang around a little on Saturday before driving back.

I recommend the Prytania Park Hotel. It is a block off the St Charles St car line, and the rates are usually pretty cheap. Good thing about it is that is is out of the CBD/Quarter, but still close enough to get there in 5 min. It takes about a 30 min street car ride to get down to the stadium, and about a 10 min walk across campus. If you don't wanna go that route, then I would just uber. It will be about a 10 min drive

Any tips? I am taking my wife and our boys. It will be the second game for our oldest and the first Tiger game for our youngest . We are driving in as we live about and 1 and 1/2 away.

That's great. We are heading down Friday morning like you but coming back Sunday. Should be a fun trip.

Just booked my flight to Baltimore over the weekend. Cannot wait for that Navy game.

SMU would be a good trip if you have never made it. The school is located in University Park which is a very nice area. The George Bush museum is on the campus with lots of great hotels and dining nearby. Love Field is close by...this is SouthWest Airlines main hub. There is always something interesting going on here so, Dallas can be a multiple day trip. The game is a night game on November 16 and is on ESPN 2. SMU has a nice new stadium on campus. We have always gotten good seats and their games rarely sell out. I think the ticket prices are pretty cheap.

I might add that the fans are nice and not a bunch of jerks like at UCF. We have never been treated badly and we have probably gone to 4 football games and 6 basketball games at SMU and enjoyed them and felt safe there. It would be a good family trip since you can drive there in about 7 hours. For a large city, hotel rates are reasonable just because there are so many hotels to choose from.

Annapolis is a great town. stadium kind of small but nice. Lots of other stuff to see there. I live about 45 min away. Thinking about going to that game myself. Retired Navy but born a Tiger Fan. Think I will pull for the tigers since I was an enlisted man!

My family and I appreciate your service. I also appreciate your loyalty to the Tigers!

My daughter and I will be at the Navy game since she lives in D.C. I have heard there are more 1700's buildings in Annapolis than anywhere in the country. My cup of tea.
