I still say the name SWT had value and we could have succeeded without changing names. It was for nothing other than aesthetics, which to me was a waste of money.

But I give the president at the time credit... he TRIED (he failed miserably, but he tried) to make an exciting change to capitalize on the name change events...

Man... 2003, the name change... Another wasted opportunity to capitalize on the "new factor"... I give credit then at least... There was effort. Manny & LaFleurwere TRYING to capitalize on the situation... They were just massively incompetent and shady AF.

Yup. Have student IDs for both names. The one thing Manny did right was the logo change. I remember him in the quad with the helmet on a table trying to get students out to the home opener.
