D1 put out their preseason field of 64. USM and Rice projected as regional teams with LaTech as team #65.

per Kendall Rogers on twitter, La Tech will be without Sr LHP/#1 starter David Leal for 2 months as he had surgery on a broken foot this morning

That sucks! Too bad he couldn't have broken it two or so months ago. Bad timing.

Damn. It sucks to lose your ace right before the season starts. La Tech is still in pretty good shape with Bailey, Miller, & Robbins; Follis to complete the rotation? Their bullpen just won't be as deep. I still expect them to give SELA hell this weekend!
