Painting them like Nazis is a bridge too far, but he is right in that they can’t run a status quo economy, Medicare, foreign policy type campaign. That doesn’t excite the base enough to come out for elections that Democrats typically don’t show up for.

Arguably, the demographic which got hit the hardest by job loss to illegal immigration is the black community.
