Johnson City Cardinals
Off topic I know, but has anyone been to a Cardinals game in the past 2 years? If so, can you comment on the difference in the atmosphere and fun factor? Thinking of going to a game, and hearing things have improved lately. Wondering if anyone can confirm.

Hearing the same thing from quite a few people. I haven’t been in years either, but I’m planning to go to a game in the next couple of weeks.

The Cardinals sent their 1st round pick here (19th overall), a fresh-out-of high school kid named Nolan Gorman. He probably won’t be here very long though...he homered in his first game. Better go soon!

I have been to a bunch of games this past two years, and the atmosphere is much improved. You have the "Perch" along the left field line which is very cool, and if you get there early enough you can get a covered table right next to the field. The stadium seating is much more comfortable, and I think this year, they have some similar seating to the Perch along the right field line. Plenty of games for the kids, hot dogs are decent although they didn't have any relish on Sunday night, which is the only game I've been to this year. For $6, you really can't beat it.

I thoroughly enjoy going to Cardinals' games. Improvements over the last couple of years have increased the fun atmosphere. I wondered if the increased availability of alcohol would result in disorderliness or other unpleasantness. I've not seen evidence of that yet.
Drive-wise, it's the same to go to Kmets or Cardinals (and not much more to Pirates) for me; I pick Cardinals every time.
