Recruited to ODU as a defensive player but I did find his senior year highlights at RB. http://www.hudl.com/v/28RnHV
If so, good for him! He seemed a little lost at safety. If RB is a more natural position for him, roll with it! If he's that high on the chart maybe they can find a scholly for him.

Dig a little. If it was football related I'd share but it's personal matters. He has a handful of social media accounts and goes under different aliases.
One post he states he is trying to get his affairs together and get back to football but things in life are making it tough to rise. Two weeks ago he was looking for a job in TN.
I would be surprised if he played more than a handful of downs this year....he's so far down in the pack. Maybe they throw him in at some point just to see, but there are no redshirt concerns with him.
Cox and Strong aren't redshirting so if healthy, they will play.
I believe Davis and Knight can still play 2 more games and redshirt.
Jackson/Sinclair are probably getting carries over him if they get down that far.
To the naked eye, he looks like he needs to put on some significant weight to play RB. He looks tiny compared to other running backs we have.
About Geiger, from what I heard from relatives in section 103 he was hurt at the end of camp and for the most part of September wasn't 100%. They said he has been as high as 3rd on the depth chart and has traveled as the 4th and 5th running back this year. He logged his first game vs. ECU on special teams. They were hopeful he'd see the field vs. Marshall. As I watched the game he wore his helmet the whole time and was within a few feet of the coaches during offensive plays looking ready to go if his number was called. From the convo they said he is a pure runner and blocking is his weakness. After this season I wouldn't be surprised if he walks away from football and focuses on a career, his brother played at Penn St and did similar after playing for a few years there. After watching him during the spring game and reading camp articles I expected we'd have seen him at this point in the season. With BL at QB we probably need running backs who can block. Geiger is about the same size as Strong but I guess the injury and blocking are keeping him from seeing the field.

This has been a weird season. At the beginning I expected big things from Cox, Sinclair, and Strong. In fact I expected Sinclair to approach a Lawry like season, especially with the experience of our OL.
Next year we should still have Sinclair, Strong, and Geiger if healthy; as well as
Jackson who can be very effective as a receiver.
Davis and Knight look to be solid for the future. I know little or nothing about
Keshawn Wicks.
2019 year looks to be very good at RB. However, we have no one on the roster or in the pipe as big and strong as Cox.

I knew you were going to ask that.
I liked his speed 4.49 40 is pretty good for 200+ pound RB, maybe a little better than Lawry. His HS film looked very good.
Although he didn't get offers before he committed to ODU he hd at least marginal interest from the likes of Clemson, Auburn and Notre Dame.
Although I didn't consider him as good as Ray Lawry, I figured he might approach similar numbers given that I thought that the 2018 OL would be the best since Born, Morrell, Lowney, and Mewborne.
Admittedly not the most sound reasoning...

I've also heard that without a scholly next year, he's gone, but that was back around the spring game, I think. Maybe his successes will temper that
