If a problem is bad (and this IS a problem, has been for decades with a variety of stop-gaps and debatable 'fixes') lying about the facts only lessens its importance.

Sure, it sounds great out of the gate... but eventually the lies are discovered and thus the significance of the issue (other than as a rallying cry for raising money) is eliminated and the problems don't get solved... see what happened under both Bush and Obama. The problem still exists and will continue to... with the only difference being how stringently we enforce the border.

lol....there is an entire article detailing this little girls separation that is TOTALLY FALSE. Only a media apologist would call this accurate factual reporting. The media has an agenda. The media has a bias. The entire concept of being unbiased arbiters of fact is my issue with the mainstream media. I would have no issue with them if they simply would admit what they are. They have every right to present a point of view---just dont claim to be an unbiased third party simply presenting facts. Their unwillingness to acknowledge any level of bias and/or conflicts of interest totally undermines any claims they make at this point. They have simply been caught lying and presenting only half the picture too many times over a period of too many years to be taken seriously as real journalist.

Call me a callous prick - IDC - but there are a slew of issues that the president and congress needs to deal with. This specific policy of illegal immigrants having their kids separated from them temporarily in different holding areas is pretty low on my list. The VAST majority of these people are not refugees. They are trying to sneak in to make more money.

What we see happening is that Mexico decided to no longer enforce their own immigration laws at their southern border. Therefore, the Mexicans are allowing people from Central and South America to pass thru Mexico to jump the northern border into the U.S. Seriously, this is completely unacceptable. IMHO, every illegal MEXICAN needs to be deported. If Mexico chooses to push these migrants into the U.S., then THEIR migrants need to be sent back. Also, until Mexico enforces their southern border, all LEGAL IMMIGRATION of Mexicans into the U.S. stops completely. NFW should Mexico not have their feet held to the fire because their gov't ASSISTS illegals from the south to pass thru Mexico into the U.S.
