I didn't see a link to this anywhere on the board yet, Thought it was a pretty fair review.

Thanks for posting! I had been on the lookout for this for a while since I had seen they were posting on all the other conference teams.

Actually quite accurate...surprisingly so. I find it interesting that he rates Johnson over Thompson. I wonder if that rating Is that based on talent, Thompson’s injury, or both?

Go Rockets!!!!!

I especially like the part where we beat OU in the MAC title game. It was sweet to get revenge for the regular season loss. Just wish I’d known it wasn’t Akron that we beat before I read this. Otherwise, pretty good report.

CFN is College Football News. ATHLON Sports needs to get their act together. #80 out of 130? They are outta of their mind.

Might have to beat the 78th rank team by a higher score than negative 34 to nothing, to get respect.

In the end, what matters though? This ranking? Is the program healthy? Doing what it's needed to do for the University? That's the end game, not a CFN ranking. High CFN ranking just makes the magazine more desirable to read. If they ranked colleges on fan base, about where would a Toledo land? 80th would probably be healthy. Bleacher had us 101 a few years ago.

Many valid points. On a lighter note, it looks like I made 2nd String on this board. Got tired of being a Bench Warmer.

Toledo had a record setting QB but could not score in a bowl game against a mediocre team Until this year's team proves it has a reliable QB and can score some points, there will not be a lot of respect from national prognosticators. Hopefully, the team members will play with chips on their shoulders and made these dudes eat some crow.

Bowl games are bowl games. We also had the most impressive offensive showing against Miami's D all of 2017.

If only 70some teams went bowling, no way we are the worst of those. App was still good. We were still a top 10 or top 15 G5. We won the entire conference, and we bring a lot back. I'd say we should be humbly between 40 and 70 somewhere.
