Actually, there's no mandate that you separate kids from parents for misdemenor arrests. None at all.

And remember, Trump ordered CBP to block legal points of entry for asylum seekers to force them to cross illegally.

The Dems are under no obligation to support any reward for Trump's hostage taking.

There is no "reward" here. The only thing the bill does is change the Flores versus Reno ruling that doesn't allow the keeping of families together when detained. It's a pretty simple rule that Democrats don't want to change because this situation is valuable for them politically.

2) Democrats can filibuster the Senate. Rush legislation takes consent of the minority.
3) Trump can choose to ignore law and let illegals into the country. But then he wouldn't be doing his constitutional duty to enforce the laws.
4) Schumer is choosing to use the children for political purposes. Its all crocodile tears by you Democrats. Obama did the exact same thing and actually did more of it.
