I have no idea how we will do this year. We have a new coach and a few grad transfers and a lot of Owl fans are putting a lot of stock into that. Ask me again at the end of September.

Hey you are not an Optimistic Owl for nothing!

he said bold, not realistic, so I complied.

This is not true and no, its not just me that thinks we might surprise some this season.

Who else? Between NNN and Twitter, I've literally seen no one that thinks this team wins more than four games. People have stated the goal should be 6 wins or Lambert should be fired.

We still don't know who the QB will be and there isn't single group on the field that I would rate in the top half of CUSA. This is a lame duck season for us and if I'm wrong I'll gladly eat crow. If I'm right, Lambert is gone...so it's a win-win situation in my book.

Agree - I don't think I've seen anyone predict more than 4 wins, and that's come from the most optimistic among us. Sure - QB play could turn things around, and the linebackers will help, but the OL and DL will need a lot of help to get us bowling. I don't see it. We'll be more competitive, but it won't translate to too many more wins.
