I know it’s not up to par with what everyone is doing but we are making a new state of the art training room in the old football lockerroom. It’s over a million dollar project. We’re doing small thing they’re redoing the team room and visitor lockerroom. This isn’t me bragging about competing in the “arms race” it’s just what we have going on in football.

Right now they’re redoing the track stadium. New track, paved the parking lot, total gut Job inside where track and soccer facility will be there as well. It’s supposed to be a $5 million dollar project. Again I’m not bragging I’m just telling you what we have going on.

Excellent! Would love hear updates on those projects. I think none of us would mind if more ULM fans come here to post some shameless plugs about your school. Now i know ULM also has some projects that we will look forward to as well!

thats one of the best things about these boards. to learn and keep up with whats going on at other schools. we all need more shameless plugs.

We're just 5 years removed from doing both a major stadium upgrade and building our Football Ops Center.

The latter is arguably the best of its kind in the conference, though the one Ark State has planned I think might be better (not by a lot, though) as long as they make it as currently planned.

"We have one of the top water feature guys in country coming in."

That counts toward recruiting rankings, right?

Only if the water guy is the water boy, Bobby Boucher.

Sadly, this is supposedly true.

Sorry, I’m not a fan of this spectacle. Do this crap outside of the stadium if you must...but not in the bowled areas. I’d rather see empty bench seating.

eh I don't mind it. It'll be an eye catching feature that i'm sure will be the go to shot for upcoming national tv games and that's a good thing

I’m hoping I warm up to it....but at the moment, it’s just too different/weird. But I have been wrong before, so who knows.

I'm fine with the Water feature. Better that than getting to see random empty bench seats. Especially in areas where we've never sat someone previously.

It's a great idea. Helps bowl in the stadium and get rid of the high schoolish look.

Agree . . it is a nice touch. CBS will be somewhat unique and look awesome.

Don't worry, we have the high school look covered until the track is gone...

Oh, I’m sure the tv crews will park a camera on it for breaks....instead of the students or cheerleaders.

RE: A-State North End Zone Project
I saw some construction pics this morning and the water feature does not look as "big" as the renderings so it might work...I'm not a fan of the water feature but it looks like the pool in front of the terraced seating isn't going to be there...that's a plus in my mind.
