The only problem with New Orleans is it’s an entry-tier game vs a Sun Belt opponent. I think these guys will win too many games this year to qualify for that.

They could get invited to the Fiesta Bowl, and fans would be complaining about how far it is.

Bowl choice can be like automobile choice. I would not want to spend $300,000 on a fancy sports car, but I would like to be in the financial position to have the choice. It remains to be seen how much choice UAB will have this winter about where it will play in a bowl game. Right now, they are undefeated.

I feel pretty confident that unless we get an opportunity to play a big time opponent in a bowl we are not affiliated with we will be doing a more fan friendly bowl game. If for some reason we get a big time match up I could understand that no matter the location. More than likely we end up in closer to home.

You say this, but if it isn't ADMI's idea, do you think it'll happen ?

Coach would make it public. He’s done it before with issues.
