Puma killing it
Signed Jay-Z as face of basketball brands and signs Ayton and Bagley to new shoe deals. Interesting that they are going so aggressively into basketball shoes. Still don't really like their shoes much.

Puma has for some time remained one of the leaders in Soccer globally but have recently been pushing harder and succeeding in the public sector especially the female youth.

In 2015 Rihanna became PUMA’s global ambassador for Women’s Training and serves as the PUMA Women’s Creative Director, where she directly influences product collections. She also works to design and customize classic PUMA styles and create new product lines.

In 2017 PUMA announced its long-term partnership with Selena Gomez as a brand ambassador, she helps PUMA further enhance its Women’s segment. Who knows next year we may all want a pair of Pumas.

Now with Jayz and the two ballers, the plan seems to be the male youth are next. I trust that Nike, Addidas, and Reebok hear that creeping sound.

Funny that Puma was started by two brothers in Germany. They couldn't work together so one formed Adidas.

Probably all this will lead to is bidding wars and some crazy shoe contracts.

Still blows my mind that Derrick Rose makes 5 times as much on his shoe deal right now than he does in salary.

Adidas still owes Rose like 80 million bucks...This is likely the reason he aint gonna retire anytime soon. If I was him I would float around for league minimum until my shoe contract runs out.

RE: Puma killing it
Was looking for a pair of running shoes online and a pair of Puma popped up.

They looked buddy af.

Took a hard swerve.

I used to have a pair when I was a kid, white with the grey suede.

Rather wear walmarters than Puma today doe.

RE: Puma killing it
Vince Carter was signed to Puma early and when he became a superstar he faked an issue with the Pumas he was wearing so he could sign with Nike.

Where he did this wonderfully goofy commercial which was cancelled because he was traded to New Jersey.

Curry's UA shoes were flopping despite Steph being the rising NBA star of the last five years.

If Puma's marketing isn't hitting it, signing those young players means nothing.

Centers never sell shoes.
