RE: NBA 2018 Free Agency Thread
Lately, free agency has been just as fun as the regular season.

I'd rather have Evans, but if we can afford Barton, that'd be great too

That's probably a mutual decision.

Much rather have Barton. Younger, better and not as fragile.

90% of these guys with player options will opt in. They say the landscape, very few teams with money to spend. Grizz will get a good player with the MLE. $8.6 million, and they can offer it for 4 years.

I just think we have a better shot to afford Reke because of what you mentioned

Would definitely love to land Will Barton. He would be a great fit here.

Avery Bradley makes a lot of sense. Assuming Will and Tyreke are out of our price range.

Bradley’s stock is down because he’s been injured, but healthy he’s a solid player and a good fit. Doesn’t help you much against bigger wings but you’ll get max effort.

I prefer Barton. I’m very interested in Joe Harris though.

Howard supposedly asked for it. Don’t think the Nets would have minded keeping him for the year, but he was traded in order to cut their payroll for next summer.

Joe Harris would be good. But I don't think he gets out of Brooklyn. He has said he wants to stay. And Marks and Atkinson both say they want him back. Have to agree on dollars, of course.

Just what we need. Another wing who can't shoot.

Maybe. But he is a 37% 3-point shooter for his career. For the money Grizz have to spend, we're not getting a Klay Thompson.

Still has what it takes to be a great defender. I feel like that's what is more intriguing to this FO.

Enes Kanter probably opting in and now looks like Thad will too. Good news for Grizz, the more cap space eaten up, the better our chances of landing a decent wing with our MLE.
