May as well start this thread.

1. Antavious Lane ATH 5-9 170 0.8115 3*
2. Gio Richardson DUAL QB 6-1 195 0.8111 3*
3. James Meeks RB 5-10 170 NA 0*

RE: 2019 C-USA Football recruits
UNT Currently has (and the last one will likely commit in the next week):
2019 (avg .8210)

3* RB Garrison Johnson .8466

3* WR Damon Ward .8266

 3* WR Deonte Simpson .8104

3* QB Logan Holgerson .8004 (Likely Decommited)

I’m thinking that 3* S Kyron White will be committing soon. He is rated as .8276. If Holgorsen’s rating is switched with White’s then our average class rating is .8278
These players have combined 7 P5 offers & 19 G5 offers (Holgorsen’s offers not included)

Thread was already started...

Issue with recruiting news so early is the better commits often switch.

In typical Lambert fashion, dude has signed a bunch of players that barely have Hudl sites. Like our former AD, we can't get rid of him quickly enough.

There are a lot of in state FBS options for NC kids. All competing for the 3* players. Gotta be tough.

We have never truly replaced Phil Ratliff since his passing. Our first class had 4 guys that made it to the NFL in some capacity. It's been downhill since then.

Lambert had a chance to bring in Riley Ferguson but opted for Kevin Olsen as Ferguson had "too many red flags". Our current head recruiting coordinator pretty much uses MS Paint for recruiting graphics. The list goes on and on.

I guess it doesn't matter, he's gone after this season.

I’d imagine you gotta go for Georgia and Florida kids. Hit Atlanta hard.

3* RB Oscar Adaway is currently predicted 100% to UNT
3* WR Damon Ward is committed to UNT
3* WR Deonte Simpson is committed to UNT
What do all 3 of these guys have in common? They were offered by Southern Miss & UNT (among others). SL is besting Hopson out on the recruiting trail.

UNT picks up a commitment from 3* QB (.8104) Will Kuehne. Had offers from StAte & Maryland.
UNT also picked up a 3* LB last night, Taylor Jacobs, who chose us over Texas Tech.

I remember when Charlotte hired him from Wake Forest, and thinking to myself that he might be a decent choice to help launch a program from the ground, but not necessarily the coach you want, going into year 5 or 6. All of my initial concerns were answered quite easily, when he started losing to NAIA and NCAA Division II teams, in their inaugural season. I know they were originally going to be an FCS team, but it appears he never strayed from that mission. Similar to me, was the tenure of Carl Torbush at ETSU. He is obviously out now. Somehow, even Randy Sanders seems to be an upgrade from that.

Just curious, what are the terms of Lambert's contract/buyout?

Best of luck to the 49ers. Was always hoping they'd add football. The problem is, it just doesn't seem to be operating the way it should.

UNT picks up a commitment Fromm 3* OT Christopher Cassidy (.8178). UNT is now in 3rd, only 0.13 points behind WKU, who has an additional recruit over UNT right now.

Every year I care less and less about recruiting. Half of them end up switching, not making grades, or flaming out once they reach campus.
