Class is starting to take shape. 247Sports has updated their rankings and we are moving up quickly both in conference and nationally. Obviously still a long way to go but I'm buying into SL & Co. bringing in a 2nd straight solid class.

I think if the team wins 5 or more games this year they will be able to really sell to recruits. That would make their 3rd class fun to track.

Feature on quarterback recruit Collin Schlee, who's supposed to be quite good.

And this Bleacher Report article says this fall's KSU team "may be the worst in the country."

Sounds like Schlee is a good basketball player too. I wonder if they'd think about letting him do double duty a la Jose Davis.

RE: 2019 Football Recruiting Class
6 of the 12 are "3 star" recruits so far according to 247sports. Throw in the 8 from the spring and in 9 months this team has 14 "3 star" recruits. We only had 14 total during the Haynes era. I am excited to see how this class wraps up.

RE: 2019 Football Recruiting Class
Of course I usually get excited with a new coaching staff and that is the case with this staff. What I like is not only the number of 3 star recruits, but the 2 star recruits at least have D1 bodies. This just tells me that it might take an extra year for these players to develop the skills to be good players, but at least the frame is there. I hope some of you will get excited with me.
