Rivals Becoming a Part of "Oath" and Under Control of Verizon ...
Will someone please explain the ramifications of it all to this old granny Bronco? I have feelings of foreboding about the whole thing.

- Will it mean that we will all have to subscribe to Verizon in order to use Rivals and the other Oath sites?

- Is it only for mobile devices, or will home computers also be mandated to use Verizon in order to access Rivals?

- What is to stop Verizon from charging Rivals users on a monthly/yearly basis to access their fan sites?

The email communications I've received from Verizon so far specify that for now things can remain as is, but that we will eventually have to sign an agreement with Verizon to use the Oath sites.

That will have to mark the end of Mr. Whinny's participation on Rival's sports boards. Hate it!! #BelowPovertyLevelSeniorCitizenFixedIncome
