AMC Now Under Pressure To Fire Chris Hardwick


Chris Hardwick could lose both hos shows on AMC. The Talking Dead is a talk show that comes after episodes of both The Walking Dead and Fear The Walking Dead. Sounds like he will be gone since his ex claimed that when she was in her early 20s, her ex abused her. She never said the ex's name. Clhoe, who is 29 dated Chris from 2012-2014. In 2012, that would put her at the age of22/23 when she dated him. A lot of fans saw it that she accused Chris of the abuse. Chris founded the Nerdist which he sold, but now his named and likeness have been scrubbed from the website.

He is also a panel for BBC America's Doctor Who along with The Walking Dead casts. He was supposed to interview the lady who became the first Doctor Who at the Comic Con.

Chris took Jay Leno Back to The Future in one of the cars from the movie in a comedy spoof of the film.

My wife told me about this last night. She has been saying that these women are being carte blanche and it's dangerous. She personally condemns the #metoo movement.

In this particular case, if we take the statements as fact, the woman willfully entered into a relationship and she gave her consent to the parameters of the relationship.

We have seen this pattern before. The woman retro-actively claimed abuse.

This is analogous to two people coming to a contractual agreement and then after the fact one of the parties decides to no longer abide by the agreement. The offending party is the one who violated the terms of the agreement, not the one who honored the terms.


Now, from a different perspective, I personally believe this fallout is but one of the negative ramifications of the free-love culture emboldened by the 60s generation.

When you tell your children not to run into the street you're motive is not to keep them from having fun but rather to keep them safe and well.

Children enjoy running around and playing. But as one who is wiser, it is the parent's responsibility to provide boundaries. Telling a child not to run into the street does not prevent them from running at all. Rather, it provides a safe environment for them.

God established the marriage relationship. When God tells us to avoid "relations" outside of marriage, it is not to stifle "fun." Instead, it is to provide boundaries to keep us, His children, safe and well.


Our society has decided to do things our way. So be it. But this does carry consequences.

So while I think the #metoo movement has been hijacked, I don't have any pity for those being accused.

If Hardwick et al had not engaged in that type of relationship then there would be no basis for a claim, be it true or false.

Nope, but it is a known fact that he dated her when she was in her early 20s, and he did admit that they had arguments, but not the other stuff. Chris said he ended the relationship because she cheated on him.

I guess my pun went over everyone's head.

Personally, I don't have thoughts one way or another about Chris Hardwick, but can we (ie: society, employers, etc) PLEASE stop with the crucifixion of people based on hearsay, rumor, and innuendo.

If PROOF comes out and he's found guilty, by all means do what's necessary, but this trend of people being ruined based on word of mouth has to stop.

In this particular instance (as I understand it) his ex-girlfriend was a willing participant in their sexual relationship. After the fact she changed her mind and he's punished retroactively.

Boy that was fast. Show was gone last night.

Second thought; they had better have it right. They have destroyed the guys reputation.

Chris Hardwick also host the NBC game show The Wall which is a ripoff of Plinko of The Price Is Right.

NBC have not decided yet what to do with Hardwick, or if they will pull the plug on the Game show.

There are already speculations on who to take over The Talking Dead. I hope Kathy Griffin do not get the job. She spoke up saying she will take Hardwick's place.

I made a comment on Youtube that if they do can Hardwick, they should replaced him with Chandler Riggs who played Carl on The Walking Dead. Since they ruined the show by killing the 18 year old Carl from the show. In the comic book, Carl is still alive and kicking.

They have not killed off Maggie since Lauren Cohen does have a new show on ABC where she will be filming all over the world at least since she plays a CIA agent and Scott Foley as an FBI agent.
They did not killed off Michon from The Walking Dead either since the woman who plays her have a hit movie with The Black Panther Marvel superhero movie. Chandler Riggs have nothing lined up, and they killed him off.
Andrew Lincoln is leaving the show, so they are putting in Norman Redus as the new lead actor on the show which his character Daryl never even appeared in the comic strip.

From some news source online. AMC just fired Chris Hardwick. Yvette Nicole Brown from Community is the front runner to take his place on The Talking Dead.
