It's Watford.

Makes no sense. Boyce is projected as a mid-major college rotation player, Chandler is projected as a fringe NBA prospect. Why would Boyce play into Chandler's thinking at all?

I agree. Makes no sense. Maybe they are just using it as an excuse to go elsewhere so not to hurt Penny's feelings.

I didn't get it either, but it was pretty clear - well, as clear as anything Keelon says. They asked him what he thought about Boyce coming to Memphis. Keelon said he didn't think it was smart. Too many players ahead of Boyce. Going from scholly to walk-on. (Although Keelon was a bit confused on the Hope Scholly.) Then he said something about it now becomes a factor in Chandler's decision because he and Boyce play the same position, and Boyce will have been there a year already working out with the team.

One of the AAU trackers might could shed some light - did Boyce and Chandler play together in the summer and how did that go?

Chandler is bigger than Boyce and to me he will be a stretch four. Boyce will play the two and three. Boyce is ultra athletic and a highlight reel waiting to happen. Once Boyce matures and gets confidence watch out!

Played together both on AAU circuit with Team Penny AND at East.

RE: 1-2 or all three!
Because of his thin frame maybe Chandler envisions himself as a wing player at the next level. If that is the case then I can understand their concern. He's also probably seeing the push for Watford, Hurt and Walton along with the dudes already on the team and is wondering where he fits in. But to me if Kentucky has shown anything with a few of their rosters over the years is you can be easily 10 deep in talent and still have 9-10 solid NBA prospects (see their 2015 team with the harrisons, KAT, booker, cauley-stein, lyles, johnson, ulis, lee and poythress). it's all about competition in practice, getting better and playing the strongest 15-25 minutes you can play each game regardless where you at. If Chandler believes this staff can do that for him then there is no reason to hesitate on Memphis.

Chandler wasn't the star on his high school team last year and likely wont be this year (2nd or 3rd option behind Wiseman and possibly Dandridge), I don't understand what this changes. He should understand that when you take a step up there are times when you have to wait your turn and improve before you become the man.

Anyone on any team in America would be the second option behind Wiseman.

Agree on Wiseman. Cal wanted him to leave high school early but Wiseman is staying at East. Understand Cal wanted him to transfer out of East still Wiseman stayed.
