GS Beat a 4 win Florida team, and the only people who talk about that game are Georgia Southern fans.

App State fans are the only people trying to compare it though. The GS/UF game was only brought up by a Georgia Southern fan who was using it as an example of why he would want to beat a low level P5 team instead of a high level G5 team because we honestly got more media attention from that than the GoDaddy Bowl win.

It's not our fault App fans get their feelings hurt every time somebody talks about a G5/P5 game that's not App/Michigan. Nowhere on this entire board did a Georgia Southern fan try to say that the UF win was better than App beating Michigan over a decade ago.

I gotta give it to App fans, they can literally find any reason to tell you about why they think the Michigan win was the greatest game of all time.
Even when posters talk about another P5 win and why they enjoyed that win more than a bowl game win, you can be sure that App State fans will chime in to remind you about their upset which is the greatest game in CFB history to them. Psychologists would call it a superiority complex. I just call it having a tiny ****. Same reason they all drive lifted trucks.

I mean it kinda is though....

I wouldn't even put it in the top 40 greatest games of all time, but to each their own.

Okay. I misread what you said. I was thinking greatest upsets. Either way, I dont really see how yall can discredit their win.

Not one of us has said anything about the UF win being on par with the Michigan win. It was simply said that the Michigan win was Appy's biggest win, and the UF win was our biggest win. But don't kid yourself to think that if Michigan had had a losing record that year it would truly change anything other than the magnitude of who knows about it. It would still be their biggest win because of the Michigan name recognition, it just wouldn't be as big of a deal to anyone else.

I have had multiple people come up to me and mention the UF win when they see me in a GS shirt. It is talked about on every telecast when we play another SEC school, and most other TV telecasts we are on by the commentators. Because YOU don't care about it doesn't mean no one remembers it.

Not really, Boise St vs Oklahoma, Texas vs USC, Iron Bowl 2013... 05-stirthepot Troy at LSU 05-stirthepot

But biggest upset in history, probably...

People that don't live in SEC East territory don't understand how much FSU, Miami, and the SEC East HATE Florida and bring it up every chance they get lol. In fact, during the FSU-UF rivalry game last year, the commentators mentioned how Florida hasn't beaten FSU since before the season they lost to Georgia Southern and how they never fully recovered from that season.
