Well deserved. Will be missed. Mostly by those he coached who got to experience him.

As time distances him from his unique playing day accomplishments they likely play far less importance in recruiting. Most of the parents of those being recruited weren't either alive or old enough to know. Let alone the kids being recruited.

It will be interesting to see the direction Hawk goes with the replacement. The July evaluation period is just around the corner.
