CBU wins Learfield Cup
By no means an expert, but an impressive way to go out ..

Points for the Learfield Directors' Cup are awarded based on each institution's finish in NCAA Championships, with 268 D-II schools logging at least one point. Fifteen of the Lancers' 18 NCAA-sponsored sports qualified for the postseason in 2017-18, with eight being represented at the Division II Championships and securing top-14 finishes.

Congrats, Lancers! Last two WAC D2 move-ups won the Learfield Cup in their final season of D2 competition. Solid.

Great job Lancers! Way to keep up the tradition of winning the Learfield Cup before moving up to the WAC. CBU is eventually going to be a school to reckon with in multiple sports.

The best way to enter D1 is to leave as the best in D2. The GCU vs CBU rivalry will be fun and entertaining for the league in the coming years.
