My son's soccer coach is from Serbia, and was joking around with them at their last game that if they didn't cheer for Serbia this summer, he'd make them do extra drills this fall. 03-lol

You will never convince me that the Russia-Saudi Arabia game wasn't fixed. The first 3 goals(especially the first 2) were about as fishy as you will ever see. The Saudi defenders just fell....no contact, nothing.

1st goal---Saudi defenders throws himself to the ground giving up an unmarked header.

2nd goal--- Saudi defenders pass directly to Russia starting the counter attack. On the counter attack, they make no effort to slow down the man with the ball then 2 players dive for a shot that was never coming. Then number 14 comes over and stands next to the Russian attacker not make any attempt to actually defend him.

I will give the benefit of the doubt on the 3rd goal although the marking wasnt great on the header.

Meh, maybe 8. FIFA ranked teams 1-32 do not comprise the field. Russia is 70 and SA is 67th(?) or thereabouts.

Plenty of good European teams don't make it and more of them will.

Hell the US is 24th / 25th and just didn't qualify well.

Granted qualification would change some but you are then probably trading a team at Guatemala's level for Jamaica or Haiti. The tournament will become unwatchable at the early stages.
