If I could get by the ads and the “congratulations you just won a million dollars” it would be nice to read

Ok so after getting through the ads. The guy basically thinks Troy has a shot at a undefeated season, that we have a lot of returning talent and the QB position won’t be much of a hiccup.

Most of the time sites like these aren't trying to make a fortune, they're just trying to keep the lights on. If ads weren't a thing, we would have to pay for a lot of things we take for granted. I've always been interested in the philosophical and cultural implications of getting so many things for free because of advertisers, but that's a topic for another day.

If anything the Ads piss me off more and I’m More liable not to ever use their business because of it. I shouldn’t have to click out of a Ad or it take me to a whole another window.

That's a fair point, but if you're getting a "Congrats User, You've Won $1,000,000!" your device probably has a virus, or the website has been attacked by malware spammers.

That's understandable. But CFN already doesn't write good articles. They do a quick research of a team and then they write previews and game reviews that aren't very accurate. Just read this Troy preview and look at their "2018 CFN Rankings". They're SOO bad.

They probably wouldn't need to rely on ads if they would put together a solid website for all things college football. That's why Scout.com gave them the boot after a few years.
