I mean don't we HAVE to get a couple of DTs? We lost Murray and his main backup in Campbell. None of the freshmen will be able to step into that NT slot.

You have Sammy Sarantis and Garrett Huyck coming in. Will Kiely, Zyquan Bessant and Nate Lynn returning. Rfr. Evan Debuglio can also play on the inside.

You have Sammy Sarantis and Garrett Huyck coming in. Will Kiely, Zyquan Bessant and Nate Lynn returning. Rfr. Evan Debuglio can also play on the inside.

Also have Carl Fowler, as he is still listed on the website roster.

Not sure I'd count on an incoming freshman to work at nose guard. And all listed above are probably undersized for that job. Though I have noticed in the CAA there are a lot of smaller interior offensive linemen on a lot of the teams while the tackles are gigantic. Maybe not as big of a deal as I'm making it in my mind.

Fowler will stay at DE. With the exception of Bessant, the others can play inside or out. Won't surprise me at all if Huyck plays immediately. He played at 280 last fall and shows good strength and quickness on film with good pad level.

Hmmm. We offered last May. They offered 2 weeks ago. Either we backed off or the hook em early strategy just didn't play with this guy.
