Y’all catch me up
I dropped by for my monthly what’s up and from reading a few posts it looks like we are having trouble getting anyone to go to school for free.

So, are we looking like we can win a game this season or even have 10 to practice?

This is my take in a nutshell Kerry, Walker was named coach, he immediately hired his assistant at Clark Atlanta. He evaluated the talent for a few days and let most of the returnees go. He kept 6. he recruited hard and signed what looks to be a stud point guard from NYC. a couple of 6'8 guys from Atlanta, one who has a brother in the NBA and a true 6'11 big man from Iowa. He later gets a commit for a 6'8 Sr transfer from Marshall. he finally rounds out his other coaching staff then the big kid from Iowa asks to be released from his scholarship. Walker didn't want to use all his scholarships because until the Marshall kid had no Srs so recruiting for next year would have been dead. Now we have a full staff and 10 players plus I assume he'll pick up a couple of walk ons. We'll be very small inside next year with no one over 6'8 but should be more athletic. I was very much looking forward to the big kid from Iowa so that is my biggest disappointment so far.
