I just learned a few weeks ago he was wheelchair bound due to a diving injury in his early 20's....

whether you agreed with him or not, he was as solid as the came......that man had quite the brilliant mind....

RIP....

I didn't always agree with him, but his commentary was always well thought and fact based not personal with more reason than emotion. RIP Mr. Krauthammer.

Kinda lost some in this very thread when he made the announcement of his eminent demise.

A man that, despite huge physical challenges. commanded attention due to his analysis and smart commentary. One of my favorites, even if I disagreed with his conclusions, and he will be sorely missed. RIP

I think he was expecting about 2 weeks more when he announced everything on the 8th this month.

That is pretty much what happened.

I think you just like to argue. It happened fast. Don't be a douche.

What in the world triggered that reaction?

I was simply sharing what he said in his letter 2 weeks ago.

You completely mistook my post.

Some people either have comprehension issues or as he states, just like to argue. he owes you an apology.

I didn't take it that way either Husky. Cancer sucks. It probably doesn't help matters either when you're confined to a wheelchair for 40 years. RIP - at least his suffering wasn't prolonged I guess although he was probably in a great deal of pain for some time now?

RE: Krauthammer's Journey Home
An interesting and amazing life he led overcoming such a major obstacle and then succeeding like few others could possibly have.

I guess it was back around 2000 or so that I started following Krauthammer and really enjoyed watching him on FOX over the next decade or so. Would he not be considered your classic neo-conservative?

Was very disappointed with his general take on Trump, especially after he was elected, and though I read all of his commentaries, just couldn't find much common ground there.

Having said that, RIP Charles Krauthammer
