Omg.. that was AWESOME!!!!111

HAHAHAHAHA, BJ's choked that thing the only way a BJ team could choke. Absolutely ******* hilarious! And to see and hear all the BJ fans cry afterward is just icing on the cake.

Hopefully this one breaks the BJ's spirit and maybe they'll get an NIT at-large bid.

Now, do I think Creighton choked? Pretty much. I saw someone compare it to the UVA/Louisville ending last year.

However, I think Creighton even with a win tonight would have still been fighting an uphill battle for NCAA tourney spot.

I think it's really better for the league that Marquette won this. Need to get some teams out of that 6-10 pit of misery. To get that- there's going to need to be a good bit of separation.

Wow, you guys really hate Creighton dont ya? Seems like you might be a bit obsessed with them to take that much joy in their losses. Glad you had a good night!

If Creighton "choked" a game against Marquette - a game that was back-and-forth the entire game - then what would one call Wichita State's loss to Temple on Sunday? They were up thirteen at halftime, and had an eleven-point lead with three minutes to go.

They say misery loves company, but I would suggest Shocker fans keep to themselves on the AAC board. They have a good thing going with Memphis fans.

RE: Around the league 2018-2019
so NET out for today....

Marquette 20
St John's 27
Villanova 28
Seton Hall 44
Butler 48
Creighton 52
Xavier 83
Providence 94
Georgetown 103
DePaul 123
62.20

1st time I believe this year with 3 top 30 teams. Would be huge for that to continue- as would allow all games with those teams(to include home ones) to be tier 1. Get some home tier 1 games.

This weekend-
Sat
44 Seton Hall @ 20 Marquette
123 DePaul @ 27 St John's
94 Providence @ 103 Georgetown
Sun
28 Villanova @ 52 Creighton
48 Butler @ 83 Xavier

RE: Around the league 2018-2019
so I was looking at the top 50 currently and quad 1/2 wins....

Seton Hall has 6 right now. They are one of only 10 teams in the country right now with that many currently. What is great about that number is of the 6- the most precarious is Miami who is at 86 currently. So really all 6 should stick as quad 1/2 wins....

Marquette, Villanova have 5
St John's, Georgetown have 4
Butler, Creighton have 3
Xavier, Providence, DePaul have 1

So, Creighton fans never mention anything about WSU on your board? I'm sure it's just a one-way street, amirite?

Sounds like you spend a lot of time on the AAC board yourself. How ironic.

In real news- update on Reeves:

Providence guard A.J. Reeves (foot) remains out indefinitely, per Ed Cooley. No timetable for return. Was averaging 14.2 PPG. #pcbb

with this- think you can pretty much kiss Providence away. next 8 days- which you figure he'll miss all 3- @ Georgetown, Seton Hall, and @ Marquette.

RE: Around the league 2018-2019
I suspect we'll see the loser of Providence/Georgetown drop quite a bit on Sunday.....
Butler/Xavier will be interesting. Huge game for Butler I think- a loss there and you would think they're going to drop quite a bit.... Butler can't afford to lose that one IMO.

Creighton with a big chance. It's funny- talking about a game where the age old debate goes on- which is better for league... Nova win- helping them build their seed, or Creighton- hurting Nova's seed but then maybe getting Creighton in the tourney...... I personally always go for the Nova side of things in that deal....

amazing!!! I always think it's better having better seeds than more teams with worse seeds.... Especially if we're talking for the better seeded teams being between like a 4-5 seed and a 7-8 seed. 7-8 seed you're pretty much dead in the water. 4-5 seed you can a lot of times make it out of the first weekend, and then who knows....

man, Ponds being out killing St John's.

#26 home loss to #123 team by any sort of margin will hurt the NET rating big time...

Got 2 huge games coming up this week for them. Wednesday game with Creighton now looms huge. Then Saturday @ Butler. St John's needs 8 more wins IMO- and in only 14 games to include 1st BET game.

definitely not a good weekend for the Big East. St John's loses to DePaul, and now Xavier beats Butler..... And Creighton loses.. 4 bids IMO is very likely...

Anybody hear that sound?

The sound of Creighton swirling towards the drain?

I see why you guys invited them. Nothing but punching bags.

If Creighton is "swirling the drain" at 10-6, what does that make Wichita State at 7-8 (and winless in conference)?

BTW, Creighton also leads the all-time series against WSU at 51-43. If they are a punching bag, what does that make WSU?

Shoot, I thought the sound was that of Gregg Marshall interviewing at UCLA...
