Picked up an offer from Memphis today. He scored over 1,000 points for his high school team last year...and is in the 8th grade.

Must be a good player. The last recruit who said he committed to "Memphis University" was Amare Stoudemire. Granted this kid is in 8th grade while Amare was a hs senior.

It's near Albany. Syracuse is over 3 hours away
