Former captain Sheldon Dries helping AHL Texas Stars in the calder up finals. Sheldon has had a great first full season in the AHL. Stars lost game 3 2-1 but check out this snipe that he scored the first goal.

Regular season led team in +/-, Led team in SH goals by a mile, T-2nd in goals, 5th in PIMs. Fans love him.

Too bad the Dallas Stars already have way too much depth at center leaving little chance for a call up any time next year. Hopefully he at least gets an invite to camp.

Sheldon scores a shorty in game 6 (4th goal) to help the stars win game 6 and there will be a game 7 tonight, he seems to be off to a great start in his early career!
