The title made me think of that guy, 10 or 15 years ago, don't recall where, who got crossways with the town council and got really pizzed off. In his shop he welded steel plates all around the cabin of a bulldozer he owned and then proceeded to destroy the buildings of all of his "enemies". IIRC, he even went after city hall. Police finally put a round in him and shut him down.

Maybe because the guy mentioned in the title is exactly the guy you're thinking of (except he put a bullet in himself, not the police).

The power of a corrupt government to drive a man to desperation is an evil thing. While I don't condone his actions I can certainly understand his motivation.

Yeah, as I scrolled down and saw the video of the tank and assumed the story was about that incident. My bad.
