I'm not a foreign policy expert, but wasn't Manafort working for the Ukraine? Aren't they directly at odds with Russia right now?

@Claw: I don’t pretend to know all the details of Ukraine politics. But the way I’ve heard it is, Manafort was working for a political party in Ukraine that supported closer ties between Ukraine and Russia.

By the way, for those who like comparing Mueller’s investigation to Watergate: the key witness who “flipped” against Nixon did so after about 3 weeks of pressure/threats from federal prosecutors. Manafort has been in the crosshairs for well over a year and hasn’t yielded an inch.

I'm still not convinced that he has an inch to yield. The other difference with Watergate is that from the start there was a crime with Watergate.

That's what I was thinking........what's to yield to if there was no crime on Trump's part? Perhaps Bueller is hoping Manafort will compose instead of just singing?
