Isn't it like 10 years since that old guy took a header down the stairs chasing a t-shirt?

"Safety first" caption in the tweet is funny. Bartow is what 30 years old and just now getting handrails? 03-lmfao03-lmfao

The danger of climbing those steep steps is one of the only things keeping the games exciting!

Unless we start putting more butts into the seats those handrails won't be needed very much.

Students have been off and on since the inception. People that buy tickets need to step up.

RE: Great Bartow news...handrails
To me this is an important addition. It’s not going to get the attention that a new video board or concessions would. But I’ve been saying this was needed for years. At least lack of handrails will no longer be a deterrent to buy seats in the upper levels.

Who exactly in our administration thought that handrails at Bartow weren't needed years ago?

Needed, but how much will they obstruct the view?

Seriously? Have you never sat in an arena with handrails? 03-lmfao

RE: Great Bartow news...handrails
If we play like we have played the last few years hopefully the handrails obstruct a lot of the view.

It's possible they would obstruct those aisle seats. We'll see.

Look at it this way. Has anyone complained that they obstruct the view in the lower level? Same height or it better be because if it sin't they will re-do them after the state rejects them.

Only if you are looking into the section next to you. We thought we'd be obstructed by the new rails at the VBC in Huntsville for our hockey season tickets. The hand rails don't come into your normal line of sight for the action.
