I'm having a tough time doing this. I used to do Photobucket but now it seems to not wanna work. I post primarily from my phone. Any tips would be appreciated.

If you are posting an image from another website, copy the image address and place it between this format:

[img][/img]

That should work for images and gifs.

I've done that and sometimes it works sometimes not. I didn't know if there was a better way than a third party share option.

Photobucket allows it to embed at first, then they pull it after a certain period of time because they want you to upgrade to their premium ($$$) account.

Yeah...I never have much issue with just placing the link in between the IMG tags.

Isn't Photobucket one of those that always puts their name diagonally across the photo? I try to avoid using images from places like that.

I use imgur to do the same and it's relatively easy to use.

I use facebook. Seriously. If it is a pic I don't want the fam or friends to see, I just set the privacy settings to "only me" and then I always know where it is in the future.

No. Photobucket photos from your own account, are yours. There are sites that feature stock photos, they normally plaster their name across the photo.

The issue is never the how but the what site or if I can just upload from my phone.

Right click the pic and you should be able to select "copy image location"and then embed it with [img]888.jpg(or whatever the format is)[/img]
