Fundamental principle--Treat your friends better than you treat your enemies. Obama treats our enemies better than Bush treated our friends. The combination of the two works like a whipsaw against our national interests. My only real difference with the presentations is that our problems didn't start in 2008. They started way back whenever we decided that micromanaging the world was an appropriate basis for conducting foreign policy.
